10 Months

Sarah Taylor took her first step on her 10 month birthday, which was September 23rd. We were so excited! She has begun standing for long periods of time, so I told Trey to come into the living room to see how long she had been standing and as soon as he did ST took a step. I'm so glad that we were both in the room when it happened! The picture above is taken right afterwards. : )

We went home to Florence in September and ST always loves visiting with Grandmother. Grandmother calls her "tootie fruitie" and they have such a good time together.

Sarah Taylor is continuing to love her bath time. I have a feeling she's going to fall in love with the swimming pool next summer.

Trey and I have made a plan to lose the pacifier at 12 months. That's going to be a pretty hard habit to break! As it stands, we try to use it mainly during nap and bedtime ...but we always have it handy just in case. : )

This picture was taken right after Trey got back from the Mississippi State game. Can you say burnt much??

ST has just started clapping this month and she thinks it is the funniest thing. Anytime we say "Yay Sarah Taylor!" she starts to clap like she's so proud of herself. Too cute!

Family pic right before Sunday church

This picture was taken immediately after she took her first step. We tried to get it on video but couldn't get her to do it again. Since then, She's taken a step or two here and there, but she's not an avid walker just yet. I'm sure it's coming soon though!

A few more fun facts I want to remember about Sarah Taylor in her 10th month:
1) She says "mama and dada" all the time
2) She bounces to music
3) When we are in public she always does great because she LOVES to stare at people. She's so nosy. : )
4) She's started waving just a little if we try really hard to get her to. It's a work in progress!
5) She is definitely a "mama's girl" right now. She's gone through a very clingy stage, but I don't mind it so much... : )
6) She's teething. She has to be, because she drools all the time and has been pretty irritable. I expect to see teeth popping through at any time!

9 month pictures coming up! Stay tuned.
